Koorrayn

Land Rehabilitation and Sustainable Farming

The third component of the Johanna Project, Koorrayn, spans 100 acres of remnant farmland.

Koorrayn—the word for kangaroo.

This section of the project is dedicated to the rehabilitation of the landscape, focusing on the restoration of native vegetation, the recovery of land slip areas, and the promotion of sustainable farming practices. The reintroduction of native species and the careful management of farmland are central to returning the land to a more natural and resilient state.

In parallel, sustainable grazing and farming techniques are being adopted to reduce environmental impact while ensuring long-term productivity.

Koorrayn will also serve as the base for the ‘Haysheds Johanna’ eco-accommodation, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding landscape and environmental vision.
